How does it work?

Pyrmont Cares collects quality recycled furniture and whitegoods from suburbs in the City of Sydney council area as well as some suburbs in the Inner West.

THE FULL LIST OF SUBURBS (AND ALSO OUR SUMMER SHUT DOWN DATES) CAN BE SEEN BY CLICKING OR TAPPING HERE.

You can also look at our collection area map

What do we collect?

PCI collects furniture and whitegoods for redistribution to our clients.

Currently we particularly need:

chests of drawers; TV stands; small dining tables (2-4 seat)

We don’t collect: washing machines, mattresses, beds, clothing, soft furnishings, wardrobes, office furniture or sofas longer than 1.8 metres or which convert into a bed.

For mattress collection and recycling or other goods we cannot redistribute, check the City of Sydney collections or call them 02 9265 9333. Consider selecting a bed retailer that recycles!

We have a limited storage facility and therefore only keep a very small stock -collecting and delivering where possible within the same week.

Do you have a Donation?

Please use the button below to tell us what goods you have and where you are. If we can accept your donation and we can find your goods a new home, we'll arrange to collect them on a Tuesday morning. Final acceptance is at the discretion of the truck crew. Goods that are too large, torn, contain glass, are stained or otherwise damaged are likely to be rejected. White goods and televisions must be confirmed to be in good working order as we do not repair these items.
